Part I: Go to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics .
Table A-1 presents the employment status of the civilian population by sex and age and is updated monthly.
For the first part of this assignment, you will execute statistical analysis to determine the measure of central tendency and measures of variation through calculating the mean, median, mode, range, and standard deviation. To begin:
  • select the data from all available months in the Seasonally Adjusted header columns,
  • select Civilian Noninstructional Population Participation Rate, and
  • use any software of your choice to calculate the mean, median, mode, range, and standard deviation.
Part II: Using the survey questions you constructed in Unit II, you will:
  • explain the strengths and weaknesses of the survey questions you constructed,
  • determine the appropriateness of the survey questions to your working hypothesis and research questions, and
  • revise survey questions if needed. If no revisions are needed, explain why.
Your final submitted document should be at least two pages in length and include at least one resource. Adhere to APA Style when constructing this assignment, including in-text citations and references for all sources that are used. Please note that no abstract is needed.
