Read the assigned chapters from The Enjoyment of Theatre covering Greece, Rome, and the Middle Ages (ch. 11-13)

Choose one of the key themes/topics from the ancient Greek, Roman, or Middle Ages era of drama covered in the assigned readings and video
Write a 500-600 word reflection paper on the selected topic according to the requirements outlined in “Guidelines for Written Work” (attached).
Include a minimum of FOUR works cited; two sources may be a combination of Enjoyment, Bedford, and the “Brief History of Theatre pt. 1.” Be sure to include a Works Cited or Bibliography page at the end of your paper.

All formal writing assignments—including research/reflection papers, group projects, and theatre critiques—will
be evaluated based on the expectations for written work:
• All written assignments must be double-spaced and contain standard margins (no wider than 1”)
• Each project must meet the minimum page or word requirement listed in the given assignment instructions
• Font types must be legible and professional and standard in size (no larger than 12 point font)
• Each project must include an introduction, a body, and a conclusion
• All sources must be cited; use quotation marks whenever quoting more than four words that are not your
own and are taken from another source
• A works cited or bibliography page must be included; all sources must be cited fully and accurately
