  • Watch the following video from 1987, titled "Psychological Slavery, Full Episode, American Black Journal."  Has anything changed since 1987?  In what way? Please watch the discussion here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vKh0H3sg1Uo
  • Since some blacks are also Latino and may also be recent immigrants and first-generation Americas, please consider also the impact of immigration on people of African descent:  https://www.nami.org/Your-Journey/Identity-and-Cultural-Dimensions/Hispanic-Latinx/Hispanic-Latinx-Immigrants-and-First-Generation-Americans
  • Consider the experiences of Black, Asian, and Minority, and Ethnic experiences in the United Kingdom:  https://www.rethink.org/advice-and-information/living-with-mental-illness/wellbeing-physical-health/black-asian-and-minority-ethnic-mental-health/
