The topic of this paper should be to write on any of the founding theorists of sociology mentioned in Chapter 1 of the text. It should be a short bio of their work as a sociologist, any theoretical work they are attributed with, and any other information that you feel is relevant to the theorist.

·      Go to your “references” tab on the top of the page. (Make sure the “style” is in APA sixth Edition)

·      Click on “Insert citation” to create new citation, and “add new source”. 

·      Select whether your source is a book, website, journal article etc. and fill in the appropriate information.  Then select “ok” and it should produce an in-text citation for you. 

·      When all of your references are complete, go to “references” and “bibliography” and select the bibliography you wish to enter on a blank page.

 

·      In-text citation 

o   Book (Author 1, Author 2, et al. Year/2019, Pg #).

o   Website (Author / Website name if no Author given, Year/2019)

o   In- text citation MUST be included when you are taking ideas from somewhere else and presenting them in your paper. If you do not cite other people’s ideas, I then must expect those ideas to be your own and that is called intellectual plagiarism.
