Select a social problem where there is some ongoing debate about the issue/ policy solution.

●      Provide data about the social problem, describing how widespread it is as well as the particular population(s) it affects.

●      Describe at least policies in two historical periods that led to the social issues today. Please be sure to include the title of this policy.

●      Use a social justice lens/theory to explain why those policies had significant impact on the social issues you care about. (Use data/ references to support your points.) and what is the gap in addressing the well-being of people affected.

●      Describe major conflicts on this issue on the state and/ or federal level.
