Paper 2- Analysis Essay 

• With this paper, you will analyze one of the short stories provided in the module and explore the methods used by the writer to deliver his/her message. 
• An analysis is not a summary. Some points you may address in your paper include:
  • What is the message of the story you chose? What techniques or strategies does the writer use to deliver the message? 
  • You may also wish to focus your analysis on a single character from one of the stories. In your thesis, you would give this character a defining trait. You would then build your supporting paragraphs using specific examples of this defining trait from the story.

Your approach to this analysis is entirely up to you. 

All essays will be expected to be grammatically sound and include:

• An introduction that concludes with a thesis statement
• Supporting Paragraphs providing examples supporting the thesis statement
• A conclusion
