Please write a short paper (750 words, MLA format) in which you discuss a pseudoscience myth you find interesting, dangerous, or funny. Pseudoscience is often found in advertising language, and it is comprised of claims that sound like they are based on science, but that turn out not to be well founded upon further investigation. You might find these claims in ads, in social media, in popular culture – pseudoscience is everywhere. Identifying one type of pseudoscience and explaining two things: what is it claiming, and why is it questionable?
One article that you find related to the topic of a specific myth in pseudoscience. The topic is not pseudoscience in general, but a specific example of it. Examples might be overstated claims for dietary supplements, or crystals, or cures for disease, among many other possibilities.
