Safety of Animals and Patients Discussion

Question Description
1.Critically read two CLC EBP Projects (other than your own) (ATTACHED). Name one barrier for each that could impact the implementation of the guideline in practice, and explain how you would work through this issue.

2.Discuss what is meant by mixed-methods designs. What are the limitations of mixed-methods designs.

MUST INCLUDE REFERENCE AND IN TEXT CITATIONS. 350-450 words each

You must proofread your paper. But do not strictly rely on your computer’s spell-checker and grammar-checker; failure to do so indicates a lack of effort on your part and you can expect your grade to suffer accordingly. Papers with numerous misspelled words and grammatical mistakes will be penalized. Read over your paper – in silence and then aloud – before handing it in and make corrections as necessary. Often it is advantageous to have a friend proofread your paper for obvious errors. Handwritten corrections are preferable to uncorrected mistakes.

Use a standard 10 to 12 point (10 to 12 characters per inch) typeface. Smaller or compressed type and papers with small margins or single-spacing are hard to read. It is better to let your essay run over the recommended number of pages than to try to compress it into fewer pages.

Likewise, large type, large margins, large indentations, triple-spacing, increased leading (space between lines), increased kerning (space between letters), and any other such attempts at “padding” to increase the length of a paper are unacceptable, wasteful of trees, and will not fool your professor.

The paper must be neatly formatted, double-spaced with a one-inch margin on the top, bottom, and sides of each page. When submitting hard copy, be sure to use white paper and print out using dark ink. If it is hard to read your essay, it will also be hard to follow your argument.

Safety of Animals and Patients

Introduction

The safety of pets and patients is one of the most important issues facing society today. Animal cruelty laws have been a part of our legal system since before the American Revolution, but they have recently come under scrutiny. In recent years, there has been an increase in legislation aimed at protecting animals from harm during medical testing by prohibiting this practice altogether or imposing harsh penalties on perpetrators who abuse their pets or fail to provide them with proper care.

Human skin cells are used to create an artificial cornea, which is used in surgeries to treat corneal blindness.

An artificial bladder has been developed and successfully transplanted in patients.

An artificial bladder has been developed and successfully transplanted in patients. The device is a hollow pouch made of silicone that is placed under the patient’s skin, where it collects urine. It can also be used as an alternative to a traditional bladder replacement procedure when that option isn’t available or appropriate for the patient.

  • Patients who have had their bladders removed must wear an external catheter at all times–a tube inserted through the urethra into the bladder–to drain urine from their bodies continuously until they reach adulthood (when they no longer require this). An artificial bladder eliminates this need for external drainage devices, which may cause infections and discomfort for some individuals.*

  • Patients with bladder cancer may have undergone multiple surgeries before being diagnosed with cancerous lesions on their kidneys or ureters (the tubes connecting kidneys to bladders) that make transplantation too risky; these patients often opt for having both organs removed altogether.* In such cases where there aren’t any other options available besides living without either organ (or both), an artificial replacement could allow them some semblance of normalcy while helping prevent further damage caused by constant leakage throughout daily activities like walking around etc.*

New laws are helping to ban unnecessary testing on animals and increasing penalties for those who abuse their pets.

Laws are being passed to ban unnecessary animal testing and increase penalties for those who abuse their pets.

In some countries, including Australia and the United States, laws have been passed that ban or restrict the use of animals in research. In China and Europe, too, there are laws against cruel treatment of animals such as dogs or cats–and these laws are being enforced more often than before.

Conclusion

We hope that you have learned a lot about how animal testing affects our world and the people who live in it. We know that some companies do still use animals in research, but hopefully this will change as more awareness is spread. If you see any company selling cosmetics that were tested on animals or supporting animal testing, please let us know by writing an email to [email protected] with their name and location. Thank you!
