A behavior I think I learned from through observation would
be throwing the peace sign out as my default greeting. I watched a lot of close
family members and friends use it a lot, but I just happened to take it to
another level. A peace sign is something one might see almost anywhere, as well
as in pictures and films, so it’s very easy to pick the habit up.
The consequences of observational learning
depend on the environment one puts him or herself in. From that point on, it’s
which wolf you feed; Some people could have a natural tendency to want to do
good for others, overwhelming the temptation of negative behavior. Particular
individuals are more likely to become role models due to the beliefs that they
hold and the ability to act upon them. A role model should be someone almost
like a teacher in the ways that you can learn from them just through
observation, at least. Fans who also play the respective sport can watch a
professional player and learn techniques and tactics on TV, thus considering
them role models. I see role models as someone in a position I could see myself
being satisfied in, in any aspect of my life: emotionally, socially, and
professionally.

Observational learning is pretty amazing. I think one of the behaviors that I learned through observational learning is to be very social and make the people who is around me happy and amuse them with a funny story and jokes. My role model was my mother who had a very powerful personality and also, she had a strong self-confidence. I can remember it from my childhood how fascinating she was. I was a shy girl and was very bad in communication. I try to imitate her unconsciously; it makes me feel good and love to be like her.
It is hard to say if observational learning leads to more positive or negative behaviors. It depends on a personality as well as a situation. One of the most important things in this type of learning in my opinion is time! When you spend lots of time with a person for sure you will be imitating that person. Then it can affect your behavior to better one or worse one. One of the reasons why we are imitating our parents or teachers more than others is the time we spend with them. On the other side I believe we are searching our weakness point and finding the right person who is different, then use he or she as our model. Sometimes strong feelings such as love can makes someone our model.
