The Science of Sex Research
Assignment Instructions:
1. Select and read a recent journal article on a topic related to human sexuality from a peer reviewed research journal (2017-present). Make sure that you use an empirical journal article, not a review article. You know an article is empirical if it describes a study where data is collected and then presents the results (e.g. it has Methods and Results sections).
• _Some good journals to choose from include: The Journal of Sex Research, Developmental Psychology, Archives of Sexual Behavior, Annual Review of Sex Research, Sex Roles, Current Sociology, American Psychologist.
2. So that we know what article you chose, please list the APA citation of the article at the top of your paper.
3. Format specifications: critically evaluate this article, with an emphasis on the challenges of studying sexual behavior. Use the questions listed below as a guide. You should be sure to address all three of the following categories even if you don’t go into detail with the questions. Please use 12 point font and 1 inch margins. Save and submit your essay in a .doc or .docx format:

Your paper should-
• be written in size 12 font and double spaced;
• not have a cover page or heading (your name, date, etc.);
• must include the citation at the top of the paper;
• not include extensive direct quotes (I am interested in your thoughts about this research article, so interpret and summarize the article (in your own words), do not just quote what the authors said).
