The social ecological model (SEM) is important for public health professionals to understand the multiple levels of influence of a health problem. For this paper you will first explain the SEM in your own words and how each level impacts health and health behavior.

1. Use APA style format including cover page and references
2. Must use at least two peer-reviewed sources (journal articles) that are cited in-text and within the reference page.
3. The body of the paper cannot be longer than 1.5 pages double spaced, excluding the cover page and reference page.

• Introduction paragraph discussing the ecological models history and the topic you plan to use. Do not use the words I, we, us, our, or you.  
• Body paragrah(s) that describe each level of the model and how it impacts heatlh. Two of the levels must have references to peer-reviewed sources (journal articles). Feel free to use different examples. Such as at the policy level talking about adding recess to schools, but using the example of organizations implementing 32 hour work weeks. 
• Conclusion paragraph that round out the paper and recaps the content discussed.
