This final presentation provides you the opportunity to reflect on your learning throughout this course, demonstrate your mastery of professional standards, analyze how domains of development are interrelated, and discuss how this knowledge will serve you in achieving your professional goals.

To complete this assignment,

Choose assignments that you have completed in this course (THEY ARE ATTACHED) and reflect on how they are related to the NAEYC Professional Preparation Standards. You will choose five different course assignments and describe how they relate to the standards. Four standards are chosen for you, and you may choose the other one. For each standard, provide the following information:

 

First Standard. 1a: Understand the developmental period of early childhood from
birth through age 8 across physical, cognitive, social and emotional,
and linguistic domains, including bilingual/multilingual development.

Professional Preparation Self-Reflection Presentation

  • Must be least 10-12 slides in length (including graphics but not including title and references slides) and formatted according to APA style as outlined in the Writing Centers
  • Must include a separate title slide with the following:
    • Title of presentation in bold font
    • Students name
    • Course name and number
    • Instructors name
    • Due date
  • Must use at least six scholarly sources in addition to the course text.
