Section 1: Philosophy of Discipline (1-2 pages)
A Philosophy is a collection of broad positive belief statements written in first person. It should clearly communicate your thoughts pertaining to the goals of discipline, what motivates students to behave properly and what structures you plan to set up in order to have a successfully managed classroom. Some ideas you may want to discuss, but are not limited to include: motivation, trust, relationship building, limits, safety, respect, belonging, mastery, independence, generosity, dignity, responsibility, reflection.
