Using notecards to deliver material from your presentation outline, deliver a 5-7 minute Persuasive Speech.

In order to complete this assignment, please follow these guidelines:

• Use all of the elements of Monroes Motivated Sequence when presenting (Attention, Need, Satisfaction, Visualization, Action).
• Be extemporaneous! Have a good idea of what you will say, but allow for deviation and spontaneity.
• Be mindful of your video length! (Videos longer than seven minutes and shorter than five minutes will receive a letter-grade deduction.)
• Be mindful of your video length! (You have a 15 second grace period on either side of the required video length. Videos shorter than 4:45 and longer than 7:15 will receive a one letter-grade deduction.)
• A visual aid is not required, but you may choose to use one if you feel it is necessary to enhance your persuasive argument.
• Avoid clutter: choose a plain wall or a background with minimal object to avoid distracting your audience. Include a camera shot from the waist up.
• Always end your speeches by thanking the audience (Ex: Thank you. Or, Thank you for your time.)
