You are choosing a topic and writing just the 250-300 word abstract for it. The topicneeds to be related to gender and music, if you could choose a modern hip-hop artist to write abstract about, that would be preferable. The topic has to relate to the other topics dicussed in class, I have attached the syllabus so you can see what we have discussed in class. This abstract, once approved, is then expected to turn into a 5,000-10,000 word paper due at the end of the semester. We are expected to write a clear abstract stating the argument(s) and question(s) that we will address. I have attached the “how to write an abstract” instructions and the final paper instructions aswell as the syllabus. Let me know if there are any questions!
