The article outlines the impacts of COVID-19 on compensation and benefit plans. Some actions Human Resources leaders are implementing are salary deductions, reduction in hours, elimination of performance-based pay awards and changes in retirement plans. After reviewing the article and thinking of the changes that may have occurred to your own compensation and benefits due to COVID-19 – if you were the leader of the Human Resources what actions might you recommend to reduce cost while retaining employees?
