Please find examples of covers of sport magazines… such as Sport Illustrated or other sporting magazines and compare and contrast ways in which different groups of individuals are portrayed. Compare and contrast two covers… and reference at the end which ones you viewed and compared. For example, female athletes may be portrayed in sexy and inactive posses. What are the racial and ethnicity issues raised in the cover? Discuss in your essay reasons why individuals or teams made the cover. Was it due to athletic performance? Scandal? Being an underdog hero?  How are the athletes dressed and posed in the 2 covers?   Please write a minimum of 500 words addressing the above questions and comparing and contrasting how different individuals are portrayed in the 2 covers.  I would suggest taking a look at two contrasting covers…… do not write in generalities.  Please list the magazines you compared under references.
