What is the war on drugs? What was the intention of the war on drugs (answer from multiple perspectives)? What have been unintended consequences of this war? Has this war harmed any one (i.e.. offenders’ families, communities, etc., )? If so how?  Was the legalization of marijuana part of the solution or does it continue to complicate the problem (i.e.  is it a gateway drug, is it more harming to one population over another?). What if any do you see as possible solutions to the current problem (what has worked in some communities)>
