Logical Fallacy

Logical Fallacy: A logical fallacy is a flaw in reasoning. Logical fallacies are like tricks or illusions of thought, and they’re often very sneakily used by politicians and the media to fool people.

DIRECTIONS: Find a logical fallacy. As discussed in class, these can be found in the media, in Tweets, in advertising, in daily conversation, and nearly anywhere else. Write an essay in which you identify the fallacy (or fallacies) being used, where you found it, what it is attempting to state falsely, and what the message really is.

Going a little bit longer is ok; going a little bit shorter is most definitely not ok.

       MLA format
You must cite the fallacy in the text and on the Works Cited page. Your grade is based on your ideas as well as your MLA usage!

No other research is required; however, you may wish to research the fallacy in more detail (for reasons discussed in class). If you do, and if you use information from this research, it must be cited both in the body of the paper and on the Works Cited page

I strongly discourage you from researching the fallacys meaning. This is to be your interpretation, not someone elses
