Compose a 800-900 word essay covering a theme or aspect of King Lear. 

Some things to note:

1. Paper should be in MLA format

2. You should have a Works Cited using the class textbook as your source

3. Your thesis should be a theme with three prongs or ideas on how you will address your said theme

4. You should create a color code key at the top of your paper; the parts in your paper that reflect the coordinating key should be highlighted accordingly. Here’s what you need to highlight:

1. Theme

2. Motifs in your paper

3. Quotes or paraphrase

4. literary devices

5. Six (6) higher level vocabulary words

6. Two (2) strong verbs in your theme

7. You should use small direct or indirect (summarizing) quotes. The page numbers should follow the citation. 

8. Discuss a literary device or two in conjunction with your motif, theme, or topic
