How does the OT offer answers to questions that arise from tragedies in the world? Why is there suffering in the world? Where was God in all of that? Why didn’t He do something if He is all-powerful?

The big picture of the Bible really gives the answers to these questions. What type of answer is offered?

Give your opinion and support from the Bible as well as course reading (or another scholarly book) and/or a scholarly article. Scholarly text is defined as coming from a publishing house, peer-reviewed journal, commentary, etc. What is not wanted is for a citation to be supported by an online blog or a personal website. Each post must demonstrate critical thinking, support from the readings, or outside material including workplace experience.
