TOPICS TO WRITE ABOUT 

• Feminist activism
• A historical feminist movement or contemporary feminist movement globalization
• Educational equity
• Reproduction/reproductive rights

You MUST cite the text on  global feminist theories discussed by the authors of the 

text. For instance, it could be a recent feminist movement about a particular topic in 

the United States, or focus on transnational relationships that are connected to some of the core feminist concepts discussed in the text.

This is your chance to engage in a component of research, namely engaging 

literature about your chosen topic, learning more about the particular topic you chose to write about, and linking it to the feminist theorizing addressed in the text.

In connection with the topic you have selected, your paper should link or examine at least one or two of the “core concepts” through which the textbook editors frame

 their approach to contemporary feminist theory (gender; difference; women’s experiences; the personal is political; intersectionality, etc).  Your primary source material 

for these core concepts should be the essays in the textbook
