elect one of the required or supplemental readings from the first part of this course as a focus for your paper. Once you have decided which reading to work with, complete the Workshop Guide, in which you will find the following questions:1. Briefly summarize or re-state the thesis statement of this essay.

2. Briefly summarize at least one point found in the body of the paper which supports the thesis statement. Does this supporting point include evidence (facts or data of some kind) or does it rely on reasoning (logical explanation)?

3. Do you agree with thesis statement? Do you find that the supporting point(s) you identified help(s) to make the argument more convincing? Why or why not?

4. Did this reading prompt you to think about the meaning of global citizenship in new ways? If so, how so? How would you begin to define your rights and responsibilities as a global citizen?
