choose one nonprofit charity from which you can find adequate information (website, social media presence, journalistic accounts, etc.) that you find to be particularly interesting when it comes to financial choices.  Present a short case that you feel addresses the following concerns:

1. What is the work of this organization?  Give a brief history of it.
2. Through the lens of this organization, what has the Executive Director been tasked with accomplishing?  What are the core or primary legal and financial roles and responsibilities that are central to the work of the CEO of such an organization if they are to be effective?  How has the Executive Director filled these roles/responsibilities?  Please be as complete as possible in articulating and explaining. (Note: This section should be about 30 percent of this paper.)
3. What, in your opinion, is the relationship between legal and financial competence and effectiveness of the CEO and the success of the overall organization?  In what ways are these likely to be related (or should be related)? 
4. Please describe the most effective ways, when it comes to financial leadership and management, that an effective nonprofit CEO will engage and work productively with his or her governing board.  How is this likely to differ depending on the size of the organization?
