The purpose of this essay is to demonstrate your ability to write an expository (informative) essay that is focused, well organized, and interesting. 

Activity:

Write a 750-1,000  word expository essay.

         Step 1: Complete the PowerPoint Brainstorm activity. (See Activity 2.)

         Step 2: Base your essay off of the PowerPoint you have created in Step 1.

• Have an interesting title.  
• Remember that your question is not your thesis. Your thesis is the answer to your question.
