The Environmental Protection Agency’s Superfund Program focuses on cleaning up some of the country’s most contaminated land from companies that violate the law.

Based on your understanding of environmental laws in the reading and research:

• Identify one site on the Superfund website (1) in your home state and what business(es) contributed to the contamination, what remediation is taking place today and any facts to really help understand the issues and area. Provide and identify what environmental laws were violated.
• Share your thoughts on what a business today can do to stay compliant with environmental state and federal laws.
