## 1. Research education cases, laws and policies and select one to share with the class. Make sure we have not discussed it in class. For example, The Negro Act of 1740 made it illegal for slaves to read, write, gather in large crowd, buy and sell goods and move abroad or United States v. Lopez.

2. You are the principal at Tougaloo High School.  A parent has asked you to allow his daughter to recite an Easter poem over the sound system on Good Friday at a Convocation.  What is your answer and what case would you cite?

3. Think about classroom rules or school policies that you think were unfair in high school. Share two or three of those experiences with the class. Why do you think they are unfair?
