For your final paper, I would like you to take any one of the readings we have had throughout the class and respond to it with your own ideas.  How does the work speak to you and why?  Just as we talked early on about the different schools of thought wherein people respond to various readings through a variety of lenses (as when you have read the response essays about Dracula (feminist, post-colonial, etc.), you will be giving a reader’s response to any of the works we have read.  Your lens is your own experience with the text.  If you would like, you may compare and contrast two of the works in your response.  2-3 pages double-spaced.
