Central Florida Regional Hospital has a TJC gold seal status. Recently, the hospital was accredited on October 17, 2020, after a full survey was completed on October 16, 2002. QualityCheck.org did the last on-site survey of the hospital on February 19, 2021 (Quality Check, n.d.). The gold status for stroke treatment shows the commitment of the hospital in ensuring the stroke patients get appropriate treatment based on the guidelines. The hospital earned the certification by meeting the quality achievement measures for the diagnosis and proper treatment of stroke patients. These actions comprise assessing the appropriate use of medications and other stroke treatments in line with the most updated evidence-based guidelines to enhance recovery and reduce the disability and death of stroke patients. Such patients also get education on proper health management, performing follow-up visits, and other health care interventions. 

The audit history of TJC dates April 19, 2011, when the hospital was accredited. The hospital has also received accreditations from 2011 to 2021. In 2021, the hospital was accredited three times. The recent accreditations of the hospital in 2021 indicated certified primary stroke and center and the joint replacement-knee programs of the hospital (Quality Check, n.d.). The hospital had implemented various safety goals, including enhancing the accuracy of patient identification, enhancing the effectiveness of communication, improving the safety of using medications, reducing harm from related clinical alarm systems, and reducing the risks of healthcare-related infections.

The locations covered by the hospital include Central Florida regional hospital and Heathrow ER. The main location of the hospital, Central Florida regional hospital, provides various services, including cardiac catheterization, surgery, cardiothoracic surgery, cardiovascular unit, and coronary care unit. The certified programs at the location are joint replacement-knee and primary stroke centers. In the Heathrow ER location, the care services delivered are administering blood products, high-risk medications, anesthesia, and performing invasive procedures.
