 Application of Selected Theory to Practice Presentation = 25% of the overall grade

 

The purpose of this assignment is to demonstrate the application of a nursing theory, conceptual model, or middle-range theory to nursing practice. Individually choose a nursing theory for analysis via this presentation. Do not select a borrowed theory for this assignment. Create a PowerPoint presentation for your audience. In the notes section – place notes that would help you with the presentation. These notes should be comprehensive enough that I or one of your classmates could present your ppt if necessary.

Your presentation needs to clearly explain and illustrate by example how the theory guides (or could guide) your practice. Begin by reviewing your nursing

 

practice. Show how you would utilize the selected theory to guide practice.

 

 

Include the following:

A. Why this theory was chosen including clear explanations and illustrations of how the theory guides (or could guide) practice. Include examples/cases from your practice to help illustrate why this theory /model was selected. 15%
