Discuss the special senses and the roles that they perform in the body.  You could discuss all our special senses or just some (or one) of them. You should describe what they do and how they do it. You could discuss what sort of information they gather, how they pass it to the brain and/or how our brain interprets it. You may choose to discuss some of the defects of the special senses or how they deteriorate with age.
