Digital health has the power to reach vulnerable groups,

geographically isolated groups for which conventional health care

provision may be a barrier.

• The risk – poor design and execution may misrepresent or isolate

these groups instead of serving them.

• Health equity needs to be built into digital health design while

implementing strategies.
