Critical Thinking Papers offer students the opportunity to demonstrate a command of the concepts introduced in the readings and lectures, as well as provide analysis and critique. The papers should reflect critical thinking on the part of students.
Students should answer one question at the end of the assigned reading in the Charon textbook. The assigned chapters are Critical Thinking Paper 1: Charon, chapter 4.
The answers should be directly related to the content of the chapter. In answering the questions, students are encouraged to both summarize/paraphrase what is in the Charon text and then add their own comments. Avoid quoting too much from the chapter. Phrase the answers in your own words. Students who are inclined to use outside sources—should make sure to cite those sources using the APA style. Not citing the sources of your information will amount to plagiarizing. Your answers should be 3 pages long and double-spaced.
