This assessment entails constructing a 1-2 page course definition followed by an alignment table that will identify a health care issue, setting, and learner audience that can be used to create a course description, learning objectives, etc. Followed by this will be an alignment table to show the assessment and evaluation strategies. The second part of this assessment is a 1-2 page memo to a department supervisor that introduces the course and show the rationale behind it. There should be at least 3 scholarly sources within the past 5 years included. Attached is the instructions for the assessment along with the rubric.
