For your final project, pick any two conspiracy theories (make sure they are conspiracy theories and not  "solved" criminal conspiracies, i.e. Watergate) of your choice– you may NOT use the crisis actors conspiracy or the holocaust denial conspiracy– and do the exercise of "for this to be right, who has to be wrong," as well as, discuss any propaganda or disinformation that the conspiracies produce (they really go hand in hand), and finally what harm do these conspiracy theories do and to whom. I want each to be around 4-6 pages (double spaced, 12 point Times New Roman font) and in complete paragraphs in either MLA or APA format–you can discuss one and then the other, you don’t need to combine them in the paper, unless you find a link between the two that would make that a good choice–in that case the paper should be 8-10 pages. So you can use the never landed on the moon, the illuminati, the lizard people rule the world, the JFK, Q anon–and any number of others sad to say–conspiracies of your choice to complete this.

Be sure that your analysis is all in your own words/your own ideas and/or if not, cite sources.

And then write a short explanation (2-3 pages) of how the Lindy Chamberlain case spawned both conspiracy theories and an actual (though perhaps not intended) police conspiracy and why both these things happened–you don’t need outside sources for this, just your own logic and the materials from the module–when you use those materials though, be sure to cite them.
