Required at least 1000 words and at least 6 pages including charts and images.

The final project will apply what you know from class to a series of Reddit threads in one subreddit (you have some options to compare,

but remember that this is not required). You will use qualitative coding to explore the ideas/culture of the subreddit and apply very basic

statistical ideas (e.g., finding means) based on lecture examples and guidance. You can also submit a video presentation for extra credit

(3 points). This will use your practice from PowerPoint or Google Slides to tell the class your findings!

Why am I doing this?

o This is a chance to directly apply what you have learned in the class and exercise some amateur research skills in the process,

including writing an academic-style paper, data visualization, and research facilitated by computers!)
