Students must conduct a brief community scan and assessment (use information from the text and the resources in the module to guide the process). Draft a 10 to 20 item assessment tool based solely on the targeted problem, population, and community. Use one of the five techniques to ascertain information that you will use to aggregate and determine the most common responses to address the problem. Provide percentages or the number that say the same thing about each item response. (under the circumstances, you may interview family, friends, and neighbors). Provide a table of the response outcomes.

Following the table draft a brief summary of the preferred fix to the problem according to the data. Next draft the general goals and objectives to address the community need. (ex. Community city council  representative will meet with neighborhood organization to discuss strategy to select the appropriate grant to address the identified need by 2/28/21). There must be one primary goal and at least three smart objective statements.
