I REQUESTED TWO CHARTS. For this final project, you will be developing a PowerPoint presentation on a real-life, all-hazard emergency profile/plan.

Complete the tasks described below.

1. Choose what you believe to be the most significant natural and human-made (select one of each) hazards within your

community (MCKINNEY, TEXAS).

2. Design a hazard profile indicating both of the hazards’ extent, probability, and location (look to Chapter 10 for help with

the needed content if you need a reminder).

3. Consider the areas within your community that most likely would be threatened by both of the hazards that you

selected.

4. Analyze how your community could mitigate these hazards (remember to include a discussion on mitigating for your

community leaders, citizens, businesses, schools, hospitals, etc.).

Make sure to include detailed speaker’s notes that you would use for an actual presentation.
