Last week, you learned about the ways in which our immune system protects us from pathogens. In this week’s assignment, you will review the third line of defense which is provided by the specific or adaptive defense mechanisms. These mechanisms are triggered by a specific antigen.  This week’s “Tell the Story” will allow you to review these defense mechanisms. 

For this week’s assignment, you will:

• Then, write a brief summary of what you have learned by watching the video and why this is significant. . Your summary should describe cell-mediated immunity, antibody-mediated immunity, active immunity, and passive immunity.
• Submit your paragraph here for grading.
