As part of the programmed Canvas modules for the first 5 weeks of the semester, you will watch 1 video per week. After watching the video for each week, you will write a 2-paragraph response to it. You will submit your responses to Turnitin, which is embedded in the Canvas module.

1. The 1st paragraph is a summary of the main concepts presented in the video .
2. The 2nd paragraph is how you plan to apply the concepts you just learned to become more efficient at studying .

For example, video 3 covers cognitive principles that aide learning and long-term retention, so you should summarize these cognitive principles in the 1st paragraph. In the 2nd paragraph, write about whether you currently use the strategies covered, such as elaboration, while you study, or if not, how you plan to use elaboration while studying for this course.
