Four common types of logical fallacies are relevance, components, ambiguity, and omission. Each one of these categories can be further broken down into specific examples as outlined here. Look for logical fallacies online by searching for faulty arguments in the news or on social sites (YouTube, TikTok, Reddit, etc). In your Initial Post, upload a screenshot of your faulty logic example and then write an academic paragraph (with a clear introduction, supporting details, and conclusion) of approximately 12 sentences that include the following information:
- identify what kind of logical fallacy is used
- describe what makes the argument illogical
- describe what could be said instead to correct the fallacy
