Assignment Requirements

Points for the Article Critique assignment will be assessed in the following manner:

• Review the introduction of the article [5 pts]. In your own words, summarize the importance of the topic, the missing knowledge that the article was meant to address, the purpose of the article, and the potential application of the content.
• Review the content of the article [10 pts]. In your own words, summarize the main points of the article and discuss the evidence used by the authors to support these points.
• Review and interpret the content of the article [5 pts]. Discuss the content in the article that stands out to you, and how it might influence your use, understanding, or collection of data to make professional decisions.
• Professionalism [5 pts]. Make sure you are demonstrating connections to content learned in the course, but while crafting your own work that is free from spelling and/or grammatical errors.
