ASSIGNMENT EXPLANATION:
TRACKING: All students of the same abilities are placed in classes together, gifted kids with gifted kids, lower ability kids with other lower ability kids so they are of the same abilities and they learn together. KIDS ARE HOMOGENEOUSLY GROUPED. THEY ARE GROUPED IN A CLASSROOM BASED ON THEIR INTELLIGENCE AND ARE PUT IN THESE TRACKS NEVER TO MOVE UP TO ANOTHER TRACK. ALL KIDS HAVE THE SAME ABILITIES. KIDS ARE CALLED TRACKED IN THIS CLASSROOM.
STUDENTS IN GIFTED AND SPECIAL NEEDS CLASSES ARE NOT CONSIDERED TRACKED. NEITHER IS GROUPING OF KIDS IN A CLASS FOR READING OR MATH GROUPS. PLEASE DO NOT CONFUSE THIS WITH TRACKING.
NO TRACKING; Kids of different abilities are placed together so in a classroom you will have kids that may be gifted learning with the average ability or low ability kids. Students of different abilities are placed together to learn in the same classroom.
KIDS ARE HETEROGENEOUSLY GROUPED OR NOT TRACKED. THIS HELPS ALL KIDS LEARN TOGETHER
