First section: Discuss how the film is telling two stories in parallel. How it is somewhat autobiographical. How she combines her own story in the film. Is she guilty for not participating in the fishing. Her new life.
Second section: Introduce the villagers highlighting their day to day struggles. Constantly dodging the health inspectors, death, living in a poisoned environment.
Third Section: Introduce He and his original connection to the village go over as much as we know about him and the village. Talk about his seemingly total disconnection from it now.
Fourth section: Go over her curiosity for the village, what the village does for him and why it makes it who he is and her lack of love for him. Does she find it interesting?
Fifth section: Talk about Him/hers time in the village. They are falling out of their marriage. The nonstop talk of what love is how they don’t have love anymore ect. How they just walk around for a while then get on a train and leave in the end. The ice cream.
Sixth section: Go through the disconnect between the villagers and he/her. Even though he grew up in the village he has no real connection to it anymore and doesn’t know/care what is plaguing them day to day. The jousting scene.
