Hi everybody,
As you are aware, Black History Month (B.M.H) is coming to a close.
In the honor of BHM, it is important that we learn about some of the historical figures who played an important role in the birth of the idea of organizing and devoting a specific week/month to learning about the Black past. If you are interested, please visit the link provided below and write in at least (minimum of) 750 words long (about 2 1/2 pages long) paper on the life of the American individual addressed on the assigned page (access via the link); all 5 paragraphs in that section, including some of the comments made in the 4th paragraph about BHM. The last paragraph of your paper should be in 125- 150 words [no less than 125 words; which is part of the minimum 750 words] and should focus on the section listed as "The Challenge of Forgetting" (pay particular attention to paragraphs 2 & 3 in this section).
Be sure to introduce the famous historical figure, as done/addressed on the assigned page only. The total word count on the historical figure addressed on the page must not be in less that 625 words long + at least 125 words on the 2nd section assigned: 625 + 125= 750. No penalty for longer papers.
The link is part of series on BHM covered by the National Museum of African American History and Culture. Your paper must be based on the content of the assigned sections/parts on that assigned page only, available via the weblink.
