Based upon your research and information gathered in previous assignments, write a narrative about why your community is important to you and what makes it a community for you. Describe interesting things that have been happening in your current community and how those things and/or people around you have significantly impacted your life recently.
Review the 4 Types of Narrative Writing and choose the best style for you to write your narrative. Keep your reader in mind – who are you writing this narrative for? Who would be interested in the story you have to tell and what is the moral that your reader can learn by reading your narrative?
This is a story – choose an event or circumstance that you’ve observed in your community, why it was important, and what you’ve learned from it or how it’s improved your life (the moral of the story).
Your narrative should include the narrative components – Plot, characters, conflict, and theme. Use the guidelines below to write your narrative.
