For this assignment, you will look at the theoretical framework sections in some published NCU dissertations. Go to the ProQuest search of NCU Dissertations using the link provided in the weeks resources.

In the search bar, enter a few keywords that align with your research interests such as student retention or adult education or teacher professional development and hit search. On the left side of the page, limit your search to only dissertations from the current year and hit update. Select three recently published NCU dissertations that catch your interest and download them. For each one, be sure to address the following items. Include all three summaries in the same Word document.

• List the title and author of the dissertation.
• Read the theoretical framework section in Chapter 1.
• Describe the theoretical framework selected.
• Explain how the theoretical framework relates to the topic understudy in the dissertation.
• Describe your overall impressions of this section.
• Determine how well the dissertation writer met the requirements set up in the template.

Length: 3 pages total (1 page per summary), excluding title and reference pages

References: Include a minimum of 3 sources (at least one for each dissertation reviewed), including in-text citations and a full reference for each source.

The completed assignment should demonstrate thoughtful consideration of the ideas and concepts presented in the course by providing new thoughts and insights relating directly to this topic.
