A short (400-550 word) page paper on the denim industry today in regards to denim fit, body shape, and fabrics and how fabric in denim affects fit. Must include list of who you find to be Guess jeans (Los Angeles)  competitors from a fit perspective. (Take the  customer into account when thinking about this) this should include information comparing the fit, construction, wash, destruction,  and fabric of guess jeans compared to its competitor companies. (Look at inseam lengths, rises, leg shapes, fabric content etc) as well as the differences compared to price.) In technical design this is part of knowing your category inside and out, and sometimes you will be tasked with comp shopping to find the differences in your current product category compared to your competitors similar product in regard to fit, and construction.
