You will choose one fairy tale and find three to five versions of it from at least two different areas of the   world. You will then conduct research on your stories and write a paper that addresses the following

1. What is the general time and place in which each version was produced?

a. Does this impact the story? How?

2. What changes occur in the tale?

a. How does this impact the story?

3. What are some of the social and/or cultural implications of the variations?

a. How are these shown?

b. What affect does this have on the story or audience?
