You are to write a thesis-driven analysis of atext (selected from the topics below) that addresses the rhetoricaleffectiveness (or ineffectiveness) of that text, the rhetorical appeals (logos,ethos, and pathos) used by the writer, and any additional rhetorical strategiesthat the writer employs to attempt to persuade the reader. Your analysis shouldinclude a concise summary of the original text (no more than 200 words) and ananalysis that supports your thesis and addresses the rhetorical context(audience, genre, and purpose) of the original text. Your final essay should bebetween 1200 and 1500 words in length, double or 1.5 spacing, an in Times NewRoman 12 font (or Arial 10 font.)
